The Situation:
Saddlers Row is a full service tack shop, catering to the Chicagoland equestrian community with a smile and a plethora of knowledge. The Challenge? A number of customers were searching for the new barn. Due to the uniqueness of each customer and barn, it is difficult for sales staff to recommend the perfect barn.
The Details:
To better serve our amazing customers, we created a comprehensive list of over 45 local barns, available in store, online, and as a packet, for customers to browse at their leisure.
We began by personally inviting well-known barns to fill out a short Google form with their barn's information. We also took this opportunity to connect with trainers and barn managers and discuss what.
Once we gathered a dozen barns we opened registration to the public, adding the form to our link tree, and creating a display featuring registered barns key details. This display lent a sense of exclusivity to our barn directory. Soon enough we were not asking barns to give us their information, they were asking us how they could be added to this awesome resource.
Over 45 facilities were registered for Saddlers Rows Barn Directory. We created a web page on our new website for our barn directory. We also created a physical binder for our in-store customers.
